Michelle Mak won the Wells Fargo Service Award for the community service to Opportunity International China/Hong Kong. In October, 2010, Michelle took a 6-month leave from her job to support the work of OI China and OIHK. She served with passion and helped the establishment of OIHK office and the Young Ambassador Opportunity (YAO) Program in HK.

(Zhang Jianbao and wife Chen Hongxia) Client Zhang Jianbao runs a small retail / delivery business for foodstuff in Hefei. He came to OIC in 2005 while his business was young and at struggling stage. With a small loan he managed to stock and expands into cooking oil, eggs and noodles in addition to the rice and flour delivery trade. In addition to improved business and living conditions, through the frequent visit of Pam, our loan officer, his wife turned to the Lord and goes to the local church regularly now. Mr Zhang is grateful of the training programs of OIC along the way.

Praise the Lord! The 2011 OIC Summer English Camp and OIC Internship Program have completed with great success in mid-August. All students and their parents are grateful of the love and care of OIC. We also thank our interns for their friendship and contribution for this period.
