The data team have been migrating evidence from the old MyLearning so that everything is up to date on the new MyLearning. Reports have been created to show correct progression scores making it clear where all learning journeys are up to.
The Projects Team came together in person this month. The team looked at current roles and responsibilities and worked through the programmes that are assigned to each PE and the Client squad process. From the meet up a new process was created on how to get the best of the squad meetings to make sure everyone sees the outputs for each client. A knowledge share will be coming soon to explain all the details of how to make the squad meetings more productive for everyone.
DATA TEAM PROJECTS
DELIVERY TEAM
The team’s key focus for August has been Aptem and closing out components to ensure all learner’s portfolios are up to date. Work began on this during the standardisation meeting this month, it was great to get together and start to build our team culture and ways of working together.
The good feedback continues to flow through the delivery team, Rita received this glowing feedback from Kyle, one of the dentsu Level 5 learners: "I was becoming a bit disheartened with the number of people I know who dropped out of the course. I think the fact there requires a lot of self-learning and reflection has meant a few of my colleagues perhaps haven’t seen the tangible and immediate benefit. Although when I stopped to think about what I’m getting from this course, my knowledge has improved certainly, I’m finding value in the process, digging into my own approach and how that could be improved so I’m finding it to be useful and valuable use of my time. I’m also thankful for the coaching from Rita, who has made a considerable difference in my experience vs. that of some of my colleagues who haven’t engaged with their coach as much."
The team are ready to implement the new review and 1:1 form’s for the learners to make everything consistent for all learners.
We want to take part in the Ministry of Justice Innovation Fund, to create new and inspiring Literacy and Numeracy programmes for people in prison. It focuses on getting qualifications and developing skills to text family, read prescriptions and encourage them to learn more.
We are in early talks with Made Purple who work with Steven Bartlett on sharing his CEO podcasts. They also run Video links for inmates to speak with families, and solicitors and are looking for additional content to support interviews, mental health and well being and develop digital skills.
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
The Multiply Programme launch has been moved to mid-September and we are working with Lungo to create a platform to launch this on. We are also looking at regional opportunities to support young girls and women via the CIC.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
The team’s focus has been on learners near to completion, to encourage engagement with Functional Skills, the team have been building new relationships with learners who are unsure of taking part with Functional Skills, explaining the benefits it brings and highlighting the support they will receive during their programme.
There have been learners back from Naric the international qualification conversionsresulting in them not needing to retake their Functional Skills. Another win shared by the team they have only had one learner who has not passed FSM on their first attempt.
The content library will be moving over to the new OPG branding throughout September along with Launch and Engagement decks. We will have some Safeguarding content to share oo. Our socials are looking great with more video content being created you can check out our posts here OPG on LinkedIn. Please keep sharing them with your own networks. We are up to episode 20 of the podcast which is super exciting! There have been nearly 2000 downloads of the podcast to date catch up on the latest episodes here: OPG Podcast British Values content and the Process Leader content on our eLearns has been a big focus.
