DIGITAL DESIGN TEAM It has been another great month for the Digital Design team. They have launched our new website and created a beautiful Opportunity Guide for people to download giving them tips and guidance around Apprenticeships and they have been marketing and sharing the amazing podcast that Michaela and Kate have created. They have gained 67 followers which is a 148% increase in the last 30 days. People are engaging much more with our content so well done to Shannice for creating some fantastic posts. This has sparked excitement in the team and given them ideas to keep our engagement levels up! The team also met up this month in Birmingham. The session was extremely productive, covering their ways of working to make them efficient and timely with their workloads, creating spaces on SharePoint to share imagery, what information they need to collate for all team members from the squad meetings, and templates they can create to improve standards and consistency and they also looked at team development plans. We have fully implemented Mailchimp into the learner comms space and Beth has set up some brilliant templates to use! We have also started a trial with Slack to use as a communication channel for learners in place of Yammer. We are looking into Viva Learning and how this can help us internally for CPD hours and developing teams further. Gemma has completed her final coaching workshop and is looking forward to honing her skills further.

PROJECTS TEAM Marc and Vicky have been interviewing for a new Project Executive to join our team in July. We were impressed when one of the candidates mentioned that they had listened to the podcasts. Onboarding of Thomas Franks and Amazon Safety Leader Learners ahead of the launch events. Working with Nigel to improve the onboarding process for the learners and for the Projects Team. All the Projects Team have enjoyed listening to the podcasts. Well done to Michaela and Kate. We have all been on a learning journey this month, discovering more about MyLearning and tweaking processes to find a new way of working. A big shout out to the team for persevering this month. It has been hard at times, to find the right information, whilst learning new systems of working but you have all been amazing. Thank you and well done!

QUALITY TEAM In quality, we are always auditing backwards so this is the overview of the activity in April.

All risk areas were due to missing paperwork, either not submitted on time or the onboarding being delayed and information not being available at the time of audit. The weak area was down to one repeated error, which is being corrected.

The impact of training is shown in reviews as promotions, added responsibility and increased confidence for apprentices. Along with the impact on apprentices’ personal development.

Previous progression not being entered

AT RISK AREAS

Reviews recorded but not able to find recordings or paperwork Feedback and signatures missing Some of this was down to the change in systems and some are waiting on reviews to be signed.

Be Safe Great to see the topics from standardisation, Be Safe community and general company communications are being used in 69% of the reviews. Over the last month, we have published knowledge topics on Honour based violence, democracy, mental health, ergonomics, loneliness, and sustainability. Thank you to Lorraine Hamilton and Andy Haggan for their input and the wonderful Beth for making everything look so polished. Over the next month, we will be looking at grooming, COSHH, gender reassignment, pride and of course, some topics for the upcoming Platinum Jubilee in line with British values and our other Be Safe topics. Check-in with the Be Safe Community page on SharePoint, use the topics with your learners and feedback on what has been useful or anything you would like more information on.
