Abandon Architectures reflects upon El Ultimo Grito’s interest in how contemporary culture incorporates, re-uses and re-interprets the systems and structures it has inherited. Within this context the challenge is to create new ‘objects’, which can be typologically disentangled from our conventional (learned) understandings of the world, and thus offer alternative ways to live, work and communicate. El Ultimo Grito is the creative partnership of Rosario Hurtado and Roberto Feo. Self proclaimed ‘post disciplinarians’‚ they are Senior Research Fellows at Kingston University and both lecture at the Royal College of Art (Feo) and Goldsmiths, University of London (Hurtado).
