HE partnership between the Cross River State Government and the World Bank to enhance living conditions in rural and remote communities in the state
might have started yielding positive results. Under the partnership, communities will to be provided with potable water, electrification projects, classroom blocks, bridges, culverts and drainages, according to need. The projects were under-
taken through the Cross River State Community and Social Development Agency, an agency to implement the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP), which is a World Bank assisted project. The CSDP deploys the
