a very competitive sport. In the 1950’s our club had amongst its members the captain of England; the club enjoyed success through the intervening years winning many trophies.

A vey good clubhouse

In 1967 the club moved to its current premises in Tunbridge Road where we have not only an outdoor green but also indoor green where we play bowls indoors during the winter months. We have a very good clubhouse with a well stocked bar, stage, dining area, dance floor, where we hold functions and social events, sun veranda and snug room, the function room is available for hire for meetings weddings and so on.
