How to control your

thoughts ? H ave you ever wondered about how much time you spend each day on the same thought going over it again and again. It’s like being on a merry go round that never stops!

Our thoughts can be addictive and what may start off as idol chatter in the mind, often causes us to loose track of what we are doing and repeatedly wastes time and effectiveness.

How to control our thoughts

Many people do not know how to stop a thought and take control, which then becomes a habit that without help, is hard to break.

You will no doubt be alarmed by how much time is wasted on being non productive. Once you become aware of this you can take control by recognising this habit and stoping unwanted thoughts.

Meditation, calms the mind, reduces stress, increases productivity and helps you sleep better too!

How many times are you just about to fall sleep and a thought of ‘what if’ appears. Causing you spend many hours or even the whole night not sleeping, trying to solve that ‘what if’.

Why not try meditation

Time Audit

Meditation is a wonderful way to take control and teach the mind to just look and observe thoughts and not dwell on them. Of course if a thought is important or conducive to what you are doing, you may wish to expand upon it.

Why not document in a diary or journal how you spend your time each day. Note how much is spent

Many people are under the illusion that meditation is a way of totally blanking the mind for as long as you can, but it’s not.

However if the thought is not going to assist you, then just allow it to pass and teach yourself to note and disregard.
