Orlando Women’s Conference The Orlando Women’s Conference, scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, is a one-day program built around the concept of growing, nurturing and empowering women leaders. Orange Appeal has been an ardent supporter of women since launching in 2008 and as a direct outreach, an annual women’s conference was established. 2022 marks the 12th year of this successful summit. Last year’s event featured a hybrid model of in-person and virtual that brought together more than 350 professionals, community leaders and business owners. We’re planning for the 2022 event to be held fully in-person with a capacity of 500+. The conference features dozens of speakers in a variety of sessions. We encourage women to take a day for themselves and expand their horizons with personal and professional development sessions. Morning breakout sessions cover a variety of topics from community leadership to entrepreneurial lessons to career and life success. The keynote luncheon features prominent women who deliver inspiring and uplifting messages. In the afternoon’s Orange Appeal Live! leading women discuss the state of our community and the issues, challenges and opportunities for women to come together and lead. The day ends with a reception in the exhibit hall where new relationships are formed and old ones are renewed. An exhibit Marketplace offers attendees an opportunity to see what’s new in everything from beauty and healthcare to education and self-improvement. But there is also a dose fun too, with clothing and jewelry vendors as well as prize drawings and specialty demonstrations. Orange Appeal will be featuring programming content as well as information on our speakers and sponsors in the SEPT/OCT ‘22 issue. We work with a committee of women from across Central Florida to fully develop the day. The Orlando Women’s Conference provides an impactful forum for important women’s and community issues.
