The Clocktower

Right after spending pretty much the whole day in the Doctor Martens store in Birmingham, me and Fancy headed back home to Wolverhampton and she told me about this “Vintage shop opening”, so I said yeah why not. After having lots of problems actually locating the venue of the event, we finally got there and were immediately told that there was a band downstairs. To be honest, I didn’t think the band would be that good at all. As we got closer to the room they were playing in, the music sounded better and better. Turns out they are an awesome British Rock and Roll style band. As you can tell I lept to my camera and so did Fancy. We must have taken around 50 photographs in this tiny space. We even got their debut album for free.

Christmas in Coventry. Christmas in Coventry.

Life isn’t serious.

As much as it could be some sort of phase, I believe life isn’t serious and many people need to let loose and enjoy themselves. Go with the flow of things rather than being overorganised and feeling like a bum everytime a plan fails. Chill.

The Essentials.

Just like everyone else, there are some things that I just don’t leave my house without. Out of those things, I think my camera(s) is most important.

Amongst my essentials are also a watch, my wallet and my glasses (seeing things clearly is kind of important for a visual person). Stay in school, kids.

now.

I have recently started trying to make music (nothing serious), just trying to organise my musical imaginations into sections.. or songs. During these few weeks that I began trying to make stuff, I’ve realised I have to be in a certain mood or ‘zone’.

The annoying thing is that I can’t choose when I’m in this ‘zone’ so it could come at literally any time. I’ve found myself trying to make music at very stupid times. But there’s no better feeling than when you have an idea and you manage to make it a reality.

Find us here every Thursday and Saturday at approximately 3:00am. Dixy Chicken, there is no other like it.

After a while of going to Asda and admiring the ceiling, I finally got round to taking a photograph of it.

I’ve actually really missed doing fashion style shots so I think I’ll be going back to that quite a lot. Aisha, by me.
