Who Am I In Christ?

One of my favorite movies is the Lion King and it serves as a metaphor for the word of God. The king of the lions, Mufasa, was killed by his brother Scar who wanted to replace him as head of Prideland. His only obstacle was Simba, Mufasa’s son, who was a young lion cub. So Scar lied to Simba and made it seem as though he, Simba, had caused his father’s death. This falsehood made the young king believe he was his father’s murderer and made him run away into exile and abdicate his throne for Scar. He made new friends in the forest, Pumbaa and Timon and because he did not know who he was, he started to eat worms like them. It is an aberration for a lion, the king of

is expected to shine irrespective of the contradictions around it. There are many things around each star, the dust in the galaxy, the wind that blows and all the elements around it yet it shines through.

•Although Jesus was born in a manger, he was a star, this tells us that it doesn’t matter where you were born.

The conditions around you do not determine your position in life. Who you are in Christ is more important than where you were born or through whom you were born. It is Christ that makes the difference.

•As a star, you are to rule darkness by the reason of your shining. Every star

There are some battles where you take cover and allow God fight for you. Word later reached Joseph that they that planned to destroy the child were all dead. God had taken care of the situation. Joseph believed and obeyed otherwise Jesus would have been killed.

I thank God who has kept my marriage and family for 15years.

My husband and I separated at one time but God brought us back together. At one time, my husband was involved in an accident which kept him in the hospital for three months. I thank God that in spite of the seriousness of the accident, he survived. Sis O.T

Before I joined the Throne Room, I was often attacked by thieves and armed robbers. However since joining, I have felt the powerful protective hand of God Almighty over my life and job.

DIVINE DELIVERANCE

I want to thank God that He miraculously save me during a car accident. I was involved in a serious collision as I was driving two weeks ago. The airbag deployed and there was a lot of smoke. As I was losing consciousness my thoughts were I need to get out of the car before it catches fire. I tried opening the door but it was locked but after several attempts I was able to exit the car. I thank God that what the devil intended for evil God turned into a testimony.

GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

I thank God for journey mercies and for granting my wife a successful class. I thank Him for all His mercies towards my family, at work and His faithfulness in all despite my unfaithfulness. Bro E

MIRACLE JOB

After the powerful impartation service on incredible testimonies on a Wednesday, I got home and I was declaring and praying every spoken word. On Thursday at work, I started studying all the verses pastor had quoted the day before. I read Acts 4:10 and asked God for that incredible testimony. As I was praying I felt like making a call. The number was busy, but just as I dropped my phone it rang and it was someone calling to tell me about a job opening.

He sent me an address to go for an interview but I wasn’t sure if I should go because I felt I wasn’t prepared. Despite my misgivings, I felt God wanted me to go that day. To my surprise, on getting there, instead of being interviewed, I was introduced to everyone as part of the team. I was asked when I would like to start work. I could hear pastor’s voice saying “WHAT ARE YOU STILL WAITING FOR?” I said, “Tomorrow.” and I was asked to start the next day, Friday. This is an international job. A few people who know the organization asked me how I did it. The incredible God of the Throne Room has given me an incredible testimony. Sis T.A

Join me in thanking God for giving me the best gift I so desired and prayed for. I needed a shop and God through someone not only gave me a shop, but it came with all the machines I needed to operate in that same shop.

DIVINE PLACEMENT

I came to Abuja on the 25th of November last year to begin my national youth service. Bro Obiora invited me to church and I became a member this March. As the end of the service year was approaching I began to wonder what I would do once it ended. In the middle of October I got an unexpected call from Dubai. The caller told me that their company was planning to start up in Nigeria. He said he heard that I was a programmer and I asked from who and it was a man in my office with whom I had not had a discussion.

He asked me if I would like to work with them and how much I would like to be paid. I have not yet finished my national youth service so that was one of the most difficult questions I have had to answer in my life. I told him that I had just graduated and I don’t know the salary range. He said they would surprise me. When I opened the offer letter I shouted JESUS! because the offer was so good. They were planning to open the office in Lagos. I prayed that God would intervene because I do not want to leave my church. The man called me again to say that they were opening an office in Abuja where I would be based. I called my dad to tell him what was happening and he told me this is abnormal and mysterious. DIVINE PROMOTION

I work in an international organization, and October this year is another anniversary. I have worked earnestly in this organization with all my strength and wisdom but nothing was coming forth, every other people around me are getting promoted and appreciated but it was like I was just forgotten. I was the assistance communication and knowledge manager and at a point they were going to trade open and made it official and employ someone and the person got paid, I was so comfortable because this is what I have been doing and I will be the most suitable person but from nowhere someone came and took the job again and I was still there. When pastor started preaching about Harvest I keyed into it and prayed right here and last Sunday I came to church with my boss and as we are praying I was asking God to arrest his heart, as God would have it I have been promoted. 09 DIVINE ESCAPE

God delivered me from a terrible accident. I was sleeping in bed when I heard a crack. I jumped out of bed to put on the light and the POP (Plaster of Paris) fell on my bed before I could get to the switch. I was just dazed. The testimony is twofold. Unusually, my daughter who normally sleeps on my bed most nights didn’t that night. Secondly when I am tired I would normally use the bedside switch but that day I decided to get up instead. I just want to thank God. Sis A

10 DOUBLE INCREASE A colleague of mine invited me to this church in January. During my first visit, I felt God’s presence and decided to make this my church. At the beginning of every year, I normally give my first salary as first fruit. The following Sunday I paid my first fruit into the church account. In May, I was called to the human resources department at work and was told that my contract had been terminated. To the glory of God, before leaving the HR office I received a call for a job interview. On that same day I got two job offers which were to start on the same day. I thank God that I didn’t have any reason to stay at home. Instead, I was given a seven digit sum for terminating my contract and I got a job which is two times better than the previous one.

This is not my doing but the grace of God. Bro D.O

11 ANSWER TO PRAYERS I was watching the live broadcast of the Festival of Life in October, when God, through Pastor E.A Adeboye, told us to ask Him for 20 things. I ran out of things at number six and just asked the Holy Spirit to take control. Two days later we were attacked on the Lagos-Ibadan express way around 2PM by armed robbers. Even though they surrounded our vehicle, God miraculously saved us and delivered us. A few days later I became ill and ended up in hospi-tal but God healed me. Before the end of that week, God had started to answer the things I was trusting Him for and even much more. PRAISE GOD. Bro G.B
