AQUATICS PROGRAMS NEW! REIKI-IN-THE-WATER Taught by Nancy Bak Smith, Reiki Practitioner, Reiki-in-theWater combines the healing touch of Reiki with the soothing transformative properties of water. Reiki takes place in a heated pool that is four feet deep. Clients can wear an aerobic belt for buoyancy in the water. Treading water, floating and walking can also be done. Students are divided into one of ten different levels based on their age and ability. We have levels for all abilities - beginners through advanced. Each class has 3-4 students to maximize the attention each child receives. Classes are 25 minutes long. Parents will receive daily oral reports on their student’s progress, a written progress report half-way through the session, and a certificate of the child’s swimming level at the end of each session. TEEN DIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHTS The Oro Valley Aquatic Center and Oro Valley Youth Advisory Council are teaming up to hold a Teen Night Dive-in Movie! Come meet people from other schools, hang out with friends and relax in the pool, all while watching a movie! There will be pizza and popcorn as well as games to play. ORO VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF This fantastic, one-day Jr. Golf program, with all instruction provide by pros on a beautiful course, is a not-to-be missed program! Availability is limited so sign your child up today!
INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY This program is for youth interested in archery. Students will learn about archery safety, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, sportsmanship, different shooting styles and equipment. Instructive shooting techniques will be taught. CRAZY FOR HORSES: KIDS SPRING AND SUMMER CAMPS AT ROLLING HILLS RIDING ACADEMY Children spend time on horseback, riding both Western and English styles. They will learn about horse behavior, language, interpreting what the horse is thinking, horse care and grooming, equine anatomy, and colors and breeds. They will do crafts, go on trail rides and play games on horseback. Emphasis is placed on the relationship with the horse and safety. There are helmets and boots to loan students that do not have their own. Instructors emphasize safety and are well trained in their riding discipline. Award-winning watercolor and oil media artist Jennifer Coleman guides you with the individual attention that makes your painting work. PETS DOG OBEDIENCE WITH SUBLIME K-9 DROP-IN This is a unique class developed to build a solid foundation in obedience while strengthening the bond between you and your dog. Whether you want to learn the basics or advance to a competitive level of dog training, this is the class for you! This is an ongoing class. Your dog will be exposed to new dogs and people on a weekly basis. We will teach the basics—sit, down, stay, come, heel, etc.—and we’ll advance you and your dog where needed. We will also give you the opportunity to learn about “dog sports” and guide you in the right direction if you become interested in taking your training a step further.

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY - NIGHTTIME HIKE Join the Towns of Oro Valley and Marana Parks and Recreation Departments for our annual nighttime flashlight hike. We will hike approximately ¾ of a mile to the petroglyphs below the dam at Honeybee Park (1.5 miles round trip). This is a great location for sitting, enjoying nature and experiencing a great summer spread of fruit, crackers and cheese and hearing a little about the origin of the petroglyphs, before heading back to our cars.
