SUMMER 2016

PROGRAM GUIDE

WELCOME!

HOW TO REGISTER

As a child I counted down the days for school to end and summer to begin. Summer meant hanging out with friends, barbecues in the back yard, swimming, family vacations and no homework! Most of all, summer meant I got to play all day, every day! Little did I know that, according to the good folks at Psychology Today, play serves many valuable purposes. “It is a means by which children develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral capacities. It is a means of creating and preserving friendships. It also provides a state of mind that, in adults as well as children, is uniquely situated for high-level reasoning, insightful problem solving and all sorts of creative endeavors.” This program guide is full of opportunities for children, adults, families and even pets to play. I encourage you to play every day!
