WELCOME!
HOW TO REGISTER
Fall is my favorite time of year. The temperatures begin to drop, kids head back to school, and our natural environment begins to change colors. Please join me in celebrating this wonderful time of year by participating in one of the many programs or events listed in this guide. The Fall Break Camp at Catalina State Park is one of the most coveted camps in the region. Kids hike, make forts, and build their own archery equipment. Our Second Saturdays @ Steam Pump Ranch ramp up with live music, artisans and special programming for all ages. In October, the Monster Mash 5K and Halloween Spooktacular are back by popular demand. We have free concerts all season long, capped off by our Holiday Tree Lighting Spectacular (see back cover) and the annual Hot Cocoa 5K on New Year ’s Day, with a special new treat you won’t want to miss. Enjoy browsing through our Fall 2017 Program Guide, and I’ll see you in the parks! Kristy Diaz-Trahan, director Oro Valley Parks & Recreation
