Business Spotlight: Title Boxing Club of Oro Valley By Dave Perry, President/CEO of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce

Title Boxing Club of Oro Valley 1930 E. Tangerine Road, Suite 190 Oro Valley, AZ, 85755 520-955-2245 www.oro-valley.titleboxingclub.com M-F, 5 a.m.-8 p.m.; S-S, 8 a.m.-noon

Title Boxing Club of Oro Valley does not train fighters. “We train like fighters,” said Lena Bergman, who owns the business with husband Chris. They’re both strong triathletes who you’ll see at three or four classes a week. “It’s very important for us to not only say it, but live it,” Chris said. A Title Boxing Club session is “not like any other workout,” Chris said. “You get cardio and strength, all in one.” Classes are structured like boxing matches, with warm-up and core work wrapped around three-minute rounds. When you’re hitting the 100-pound bag, “you feel tough,” Lena said, “and you don’t get hit back.” “When you leave here, you’re going to feel better,” Chris said. “Try it out.” They guarantee results. Besides, says Lena, “it’s the friendliest club in town.”
