Newsletter Aug. - Sept. 2014

Welcome to the new Vista! In order to better meet the communication needs of Oro Valley residents, the Vista newsletter has undergone a transformation. Previously, it was an eight-page document produced four times per year and only available online, with the exception of a few printed copies at Town Hall. This new, condensed version will allow us to produce the Vista six times per year and distribute printed copies to 19,000 households via Oro Valley Water Utility bills. The new Vista will also still be available online at www.orovalleyaz.gov for residents who do not receive paper water bills.

Children’s Museum Oro Valley

The Children’s Museum Tucson has partnered with the Town of Oro Valley to open a satellite location in Oro Valley in the first quarter of 2015. The location of new facility is yet to be determined; however, it is anticipated to be approximately 3,000 square feet with hands-on, interactive exhibits that are focused on early childhood education, and it will include some of the Museum’s most kid- and parent-popular exhibits such as Wee World, Bodyology and the Art Studio. For more information about the Children’s Museum, visit www.childrensmuseumtucson.org.
