Three months after being battered by Hurricane Irma, our tiny island was back to business as usual. In time, it will make an interesting anecdote, a memory to discuss with your Anguillian friends who “lived through it.”
If ever an island knows how to stand up to a Category 5 Hurricane, it’s this one. If ever an island had a network of friends and family far and wide who cared enough to send aid and support, it’s Anguilla. And if ever a people pulled together to bring their beloved home back to life swiftly and safely, it’s Anguillians.
This special edition will not dwell on the devastation, but show Anguilla and her fabulous accommodations, beaches, attractions and cuisine as they are post-Irma. Our editorial also features some of the heroes and heroines of the storm and how, for some, the Anguilla's strength in adversity became the reason they decided to visit, buy a home or invest here.
