The seeds of this plant are used for the production of their inca inchi oil which is especially recognised for its composition and high nutritional quality. Current scientific studies indicate that sacha inchi oil has a high content of essential fatty acids Omega-3 (more than 48 %) and Omega-6 (36 %).
