ESD: Why are you passionate about personalized learning?

GG: Throughout my career, I’ve taught thousands of people, both in higher-ed settings and in corporate environments, so I know from experience that personalization in learning is crucial However, as a senior lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas, I realized that when working with many learners at once, it was more difficult to provide personalized instruction and feedback equitably, and on a large scale. • 339 hourly employees logging time.

• 241 payroll records generated by each hourly employee, on average

• 29 percent of payroll records included at least one hour of overtime pay

The data suggests that the average district generates nearly 82,000 payroll r e c o r d s f o r h o u r l y e m p l o y e e s e a c h year, or nearly 2,000 payroll records that HR and payroll departments need to process per week Further, of those 82,000 records, about 24,000 of them
