Tikal Outdoor Kitchen Glamor
Following the success of Accoya’s metal and wooden versions, the famous Tikal outdoor kitchen designed by Belluno architect Nicola De Pellegrini is now tinged with a new, bright shade of white and enriched with a new series of accessories, making it even more iconic Maintaining the linear verticality and the essential geometr y of the original model, Tikal W hite promises to redesign outdoor spaces, giving them the refined and inimitable Made in Italy style that distinguishes all furnishings by Talenti
For the T ikal collection, Nicola De Pellegrini was directly inspired by the majest y of Mesoamerican religious architecture and above all by the severe and
rational lines, which he proposes with metal structures in zinc-magnesium, stainless steel and aluminum, coating with a special white paint capable to stand up to high temperatures and atmospheric agents
In addition to the new finish, the Tikal project is enriched with new accessories, such as the barbecue with oven and equipped drawers, which allow you to further explore the sense of conviviality and the central role of the outdoor kitchen as the fulcrum of the outdoor space Thanks to the aesthetics and incomparable quality of Made in Italy, Talenti has managed to create a line of outdoor kitchens that allows you to live a truly immersive experience between design, nature and functionality KN

REVIEW:
StylishHigh-Tech BlenderCap
BY A.J. FLICK
It ’ s been some time since I had a blender in the house W hen I heard about BlenderCap by Cruz, a portable blender, I was intrigued
The brainchild of two former Apple product creators, BlenderCap is a conical blender component powered by nine high-discharge lithium-ion cells that deliver 27 amps and 300 watts of continuous DC power, according to Cruz The high-torque, 18,000 RPM motor easily breaks up ice (margaritas, anyone?) or frozen fruit for smoothies.
The sleek BlenderCap itself has a lot of technolog y behind it, but it ’ s simple (and fun) to use You power it just like you would your cell phone A blinking blue light indicates it ’ s charging; a steady blue light shows when it ’ s fully charged
According to Cruz, the charge is good for a week. I found once fully charged, it can last several days with occasional use It charges up pretty quickly once you need to give it more juice (see what I did there?)
The BlenderCap is designed so it can be screwed into most bottles, but Cruz does have insulated 32-ounce or 22ounce stainless steel bottles in a variety of colors that keep drinks cold up to 24 hours as well as a sturdy 34-ounce c lear bottle The c lear bottle is the best for blending because you can see the texture as you go
Cruz recommends putting the liquid in first, then whatever additives you desire, such as fr uit or ice You scre w the BlenderCap on and a yellow light tells you when (and only when) the seal is secure Simply invert the bottle, press the button and it does its job, either a steady churn or in spurts
Bonus: The BlenderCap in use is not so loud that it didn’t s e n d m y c a t f l e e i n g t h e ro om a s s h e d o e s w i t h o t h e r appliances, such as mixers or the vacuum. This was a good
thing because the more I used the BlenderCap, the more I wanted to see how it blended things, so I did a lot of experimenting.
I don’t tend to buy smoothies when I’m out and about because I’m war y of them having too much added sugar W ith BlenderCap, I can make my custom smoothie and know exactly what goes into it My favorite smoothies I made with Lifeway L ow Fat Kefir and f re s h f r u i t I a l s o m ad e s om e m i l k s h a k e s w i t h
Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream (with one, I ad d e d a d a s h o f D o p e C o f f e e O r g a n i c C o f f e e S y r u p – y u m ! ) I made a puree with fresh strawberries –n o ad d e d s u g a r –a n d v a n i l l a I a l s o made what I call a vodka icee with lime juice
The BlenderCap i t s e l f, w h i l e i t i s easily portable, is on the heavy side, which is necessar y with the technolog y used I can see taking it camping, but I wouldn’t want to have it in my backpack while hiking
The stylish 32-ounce stainless steel and 34-ounce c lear plastic bottles also are not kind for those with small hands
makes blending fun
But then again, most people have wide-mouth slim bottles that they can use the BlenderCap on or transfer the smoothie to – there is also the option of the 22-ounce stainless steel bottle I didn’t have a problem holding the 32-ounce or 34ounce bottles
The bottles come with a D ual TwistCap that inc ludes a hand le for easy carr ying Remove the hand le and there’s a d r i n k i n g s p o u t ( o r yo u m ay choose just to remove the entire Tw i s t C a p t o d r i n k f rom t h e bottle)
As you might imagine, the B l e n d e r C a p i t s e l f i s n’t submersible f or c leaning, but honestly, it ’ s not necessar y To c lean the BlenderCap, just put water and soap in the bottle, put the BlenderCap on and blend away to clean! Wipe the exterior clean if needed. The bottles and s e p a r a t e c a p s a re d i s h w a s h e r safe
The BlenderCap comes with a co ver to protect the blades (and your hands) when it ’ s not c on n e c t e d t o t h e b o t t l e ( a n d t h e re ’ s a n o p t i on a l c a s e ) I n addition, its creators have built in a triple redundancy safety switch mechanism to avoid activating the blades when they ’ re not on a bottle
So, got anything you want blended? My BlenderCap is charged and ready KN

IHA Board of Directors Announces Changes, Shortens The Inspired Home Show Length
A f t e r f e e d b ac k f rom t wo i n d u s t r y - w i d e sur veys and four committees made up of exhibitors and retailers, the International Housewares Association board of directors has reduced the overall length and optimized the 2024 The Inspired Home Show layout
The show will open on Sunday, March 17, and close on Tuesday, March 19. The majority of exhibitors and retailers indicated on recent sur veys and in discussions that three full day s at the S how is sufficient with business being more concentrated over that timeframe, said Derek Miller, IHA president and CEO
“Making the move from four days to three full days will not only make the show m o re p ro d u c t i ve a n d dynamic but will also reduce costs for both the exhibitor a n d re t a i l a u d i e n c e s , something frequently cited t h ro u g h o u t d i s c u s s i on s , ” Miller said
The W ired + Well Expo will move from the Lakeside Center to the North Hall colocating with the Clean + Contain Expo to create an active and dynamic destination at the Show Housing all three of the show’s primary Expos, which includes Dine + Décor, together in the North and South Halls will bring the industr y ’ s core categories together into a central location that is much easier and more efficient to navigate with quick trips between two halls now being possible
The Nor th Hall will be divided into two halves with Wired + Well occupying the right-hand side and Clean + Contain continuing to occupy the lef t-hand side Both Expos will be reconfigured with exhibitors being placed in each based-on seniorit y number Additional details will be provided to returning and new exhibitors in the coming weeks about this process and schedule

As with the changes to W ired + Well and Clean + Contain, exhibitors from Discover Design will be contacted directly regarding the space assignment process
The Travel Gear + Luggage categor y will move into the South Hall to give this new area room to grow and develop Additional details about this c ategor y ’ s de velopment

W hile the overall size of the show will not decrease, with these relocation plans, the show will no longer occupy the Lakeside Center Exhibits and displays located in the Lakeside Center L obby, such as the Smart Home Pavilion and the Inventors Corner, will be relocated into the North and South Halls.
