Join us as we follow the fictitious Oklahoma OSSBA Public School (OOPS!) board members and superintendent as they work together to govern their school district. This information-packed day will include a mock board meeting, suggestions on working as a team, planning and preparation, effective communication, conducting board meetings, and much, much more!

New and incumbent board members will receive 1 finance, 1 ethics, and 1 open meeting credit, plus three additional credits which count toward the 12 hours for new members and six hours for incumbent members required within 15 months of election, as of Jan. 1, 2014.

Attending this workshop along with the School Law Series: Employment workshop will fulfill all 12 required credit hours for new board members.

Registration is $100 for members, $200 for non-members. Registration is due by April 17. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing by the registration due date (less a $25 cancellation fee). No refunds will be offered after this date.
