Q: What are the payment options at Springside?
Initially, we require an application fee for both apartments and homes
A: There are two payment plan options available: 1. Equity Refund Plan Individuals selecting this option use current assets, such as proceeds from a home sale or other personal funds to cover the equity payment. This payment is equal to the current value of the Springside apartment or duplex and shared common areas. Since the actual apartment or duplex is prepared with the equity payment, a monthly service fee will be charged to cover congregate or duplex services provided. When a resident vacates a home, Springside at Seneca Hill refunds the resident a portion of the equity amount as follows: Upon occupying a Springside home for one month, 96% of the equity payment is refundable. For months two through 46 of occupancy, the original equity payment will decrease monthly at a rate of 1% For months 47 and thereafter, 50% of the original equity payment will be refunded after the Springside home is vacated, according to the terms outlined in the Residency Agreement. The equity payment is due prior to occupancy, in accordance with the schedule outlined in the Residency Agreement. 2. Monthly Rental and Service Fee (Available for apartments only) All the housing costs, support services and features listed are included in one monthly payment through a simple rental agreement.
Springside Commitment Springside at Seneca Hill is part of the Oswego Health system, which provides a wide range of healthcare services from birth to maturity. The health system is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care to community residents. Oswego Health is a nonprofit healthcare system that includes Oswego Hospital, a 164-bed community hospital providing acute medical, emergency, surgical, maternity and behavioral health care. The hospital is the cornerstone of Oswego Health’s services and was founded in 1881. Oswego Hospital also operates several convenient outpatient centers located throughout Oswego County including the Fulton Medical Center, offering urgent care, lab, medical imaging, physical therapy and occupational health services; and the Central Square Medical Center, offering urgent care, lab, medical imaging and physical therapy services.
The health system also includes The Manor at Seneca Hill, a skilled nursing facility that provides complete rehabilitation services and an Adult Day Health Services Program; Springside at Seneca Hill, an independent retirement community; and Oswego Health Home Care, the only hospital-based certified home health care agency in Oswego County. In addition, Oswego Health includes the Oswego Health captive professional corporation, Physician Care P.C., providing physician services in orthopedics, cardiology, otolaryngology (ENT), general surgery and primary care. Regardless of the healthcare services you may require, Oswego Health’s many physicians, nurses and other clinicians are ready to meet your needs.
