or nearly a century Yokohama has assiduously pursued a trajectory of development founded on the principle of innovation. This Japanese tire manufacturer attributes its success to an unyielding commitment to technology. James de Chavez, Marketing Manager for Yokohama’s Canadian operations, underscores the importance of this pledge. “First and foremost we are a technology-based company which happens to focus its resources on the development of tires that deliver high calibre results and the best value to our customers.” Yokohama’s focus on technology, particularly in the trucking sector, is most evident in the company’s branded line of Zenvironment commercial tires, a formidable achievement that prolongs tire life and structural integrity while maintaining maximum surface to road contact and control. James de Chavez explains: “Our objective was to make these tires long lasting and as efficient as possible, while still maximizing the performance for their designated application.
