Murray Lindsay Mansion
Step back in time at this historic gem in the heart of Lindsay. The Murray Lindsay Mansion is the former home of Irish immigrant Frank Murray and his First American wife Alzira McCaughey and their family. The house, built in the late 1800s, was once the largest and most ornate house in western Chickasaw Country, with 15 rooms, two baths and four fireplaces. Many noteworthy guests, including Geronimo, are said to have visited the mansion.

This fine art gallery and listening room is in Ardmore’s downtown Depot District. The Listening Room is a small, unplugged space that hosts singers and songwriters every Friday evening.

Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center
Located off I-35 at the Davis exit, the Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center serves as a tourism information center with retail space, a playground and a dog park. The welcome center also sells original Chickasaw and other First American artwork, as well as Made in Oklahoma retail items and gift items. It hosts a biannual rotating art exhibit featuring the original work of a Chickasaw artist. All art on exhibition is for sale.

Located in downtown Ardmore, the Charles B. Goddard Center provides cultural experiences and art education. Visitors can explore the Goddard Center’s visual arts museum, featuring rotating exhibits and pieces in the Center’s permanent collection, which includes over 400 pieces of art. Ardmore Festival of Lights
Take a drive through 1.5 miles of vibrant Christmas lights at Ardmore Regional Park’s annual Festival of Lights. The light show is one of the largest displays in southern Oklahoma, featuring over 125 animated displays that bring the holiday spirit to life. As you wind through the park, you will be treated to an array of festive lights and enchanting holiday scenes, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.
Chickasha Festival of Light
Prepare yourself for a true holiday treat at the Chickasha Festival of Light, recognized as a top 10 holiday light show in the nation. Featuring over 4 million lights, Shannon Springs Park is transformed into a 43-acre Christmas wonderland. Guests can walk or drive (or both!) through the stunning display. Cultural Center Celebration of Lights
Kick-start the holiday season with a spectacular drivethru light display in Sulphur at the Chickasaw Cultural Center’s Celebration of Lights. This light extravaganza features dozens of displays with traditional Christmas themes, along with unique cultural additions that highlight Chickasaw heritage. The Celebration of Lights runs nightly beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving through Dec. 31.
Christmas Lights at the Capitol
The Chickasaw Nation’s annual Christmas Lights at the Capitol event is a wonderful way to experience the holiday season while celebrating Chickasaw culture. From Nov. 24 to Dec. 31, the grounds of the historic capitol building in Tishomingo will be adorned with colorful lights displaying a variety of Chickasaw-themed elements, including animals significant to the Chickasaw people and scenes depicting traditional Chickasaw life. The event begins with a special lighting ceremony to illuminate the grounds, followed by a reception of cookies and hot chocolate.
