Flatwater kayaking and stand up paddle boarding are offered in the Boathouse District as well as at Lake Overholser and Lake Hefner.

Buy your passes and get your wristbands for the day at Guest Services in the McClendon Whitewater Center (see map). RESERVATIONS You’ll need a reservation for the zip line, rafting or indoor skiing. Zip line reservations are only available in person at Guest Services and are limited, so make yours early. Rafting and indoor skiing reservations are available online or in person. All other adventures are on a walk-up basis.

During COVID 19, we supported families with free season passes and youth camps to help manage distance learning. We also provide opportunities for First Responders, military veterans, the visually impaired and others who are “differently abled.”

RIVERSPORT is a US Olympic and Paralympic Training Site for both rowing and canoe/kayak. Our athletes are training to compete on the world stage with dreams of making the podium at the next Olympic Games. Our next big dream? OK to LA…we want to see athletes from our home state bringing home gold at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Stow your gear in a locker ($5-10) in the McClendon Whitewater Center. US
Discover Experiences RIVERSPORT “Discover” experiences give you a chance to try rowing, kayaking, surfing, snow skiing, stand up paddle boarding and whitewater kayaking – you can even learn to ride a One Wheel – all with an instructor in a small group setting. RIVERSPORT Lake Overholser features kayak and stand up paddle board rentals plus the Trailhead Café, now offering a fresh new menu for both breakfast and lunch. Your visit to RIVERSPORT Rapids isn’t complete until you stop by RIVERSPORT Outfitters in the McClendon Whitewater Center. You’ll find cool T’s, hats in a variety of styles, and all the things you thought you packed but didn’t – water bottle, lip balm, sunglasses, and, of course, sunscreen.
• Be prepared to get wet if you go rafting, surfing, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding.
