HONORARY CAPTAIN
We hope that you alumni and visitors will join with us in mak ing this week-end the best that Otterbein has ever knowui. The j)lans have been carefully laid out by the Student Council and Mr. Ehrhart. All that is needed now to assure the success of the Fall Home-coming is your sincere cooperation. Drive outside cares from your minds, friends, and become a collegian again. Let’s all back our team to the limit. Cheerleaders Bob Grise and Frank Jakes will be on hand to lead our cheering. Show your Otterbein spirit by giving the best of your vocal a])ilities. ♦

A note of sadness has crept in to the Otterbein football camj). The team’s hard-working ball carrier, Bob Perry, senior from Akron, was a victim of strep tococcic infection last Monday. At the last report his condition was steadily improving, but Bob will still have to watch the big game from the sidelines Satur day. As a reward for Perry’s hne service as a varsity halfback throughout his college career. Coach Fwing has named him the honorary captain for the home coming clash. Here’s wdshing you a speedy recovery. Bob! And here’s hoping the team pre.^ents you wdth a victory Satur day afternoon. ♦
