You’re Number One, Oklahoma! It’s been just over one year since the OMMA opened the online portal for processing applications. Now over 170,000 patients have been approved for medical cannabis! Congratulations Oklahoma, according to MPP.org you have just surpassed California (3.44%) and Maine (3.43%) in terms of patients per capita. With a whopping 3.71% (and climbing) Oklahoma is now leading the nation! Oklahoma is NUMBER ONE! You did this! You deserve to

year ago here in Oklahoma, we were still celebrating the passage of State Question 788, and rightly so: one of the most conservative states in the nation, and one that has been anything but an ally to the medical cannabis movement, passed one of the most liberal medical laws by a popular vote, and by doing so, gave thousands of Oklahomans freedom to choose medical cannabis. No more do patients who simply want a natural choice for their health have to skulk in the shadows of society. Rather than fear the consequences of being caught with a plant, they’re able to simply live their lives.
