BIRTHMOTHER We appreciate the opportunity to share a little bit about ourselves with you. We can only imagine how difficult it is in finding the “right family for your child. However, we can promise you that if you choose us, we will shower your child with love, love, and more love. Our first child was from Guatemala, and as we walked into the orphanage to pick him up, we were overcome with emotions over how many children in this world need a good family. We are just one family, but we are confident your child will want for nothing. We can promise you that your baby will have the values instilled in him or her that were instilled in us. And lastly, we can promise that your child will know undeniably who his mother was and the sacrifices she made to share her child with us.
We are John & Stuart, and we are excited to grow our family again through the gift of
adoption
WE HOPE YOU ENJOY LOOKING AT OUR PROFILE!
We would love to learn more about you.
We can't wait to be parents again!
Happy family

e live in North Carolina. Stuart is a successful General and Cosmetic Dentist with his own neighborhood private dental practice and John is Director of Fund-raising for Montreat Conference Center. We have a wonderful six-year-old son named Ramsay. He means the world to us and is looking forward to having a baby that he can call his little sister or brother. We have a comfortable home, located on half an acre of land, with a large fenced-in backyard for the kids to play. We are thankful to have made many family memories by having family & friends over to cookout in our backyard, as well as hosting several wonderful family reunions and white tent dinner parties. Stuart loves gardening, and our son likes helping his Daddy with chores in the yard in the afternoons on beautiful Carolina blue-sky days. »T here is nothing quite like our weekends together as a family. We enjoy our family vacation home in the mountains of North Carolina. When we go up to the mountains, we have an active lifestyle, which includes paddle boating on a nearby pond, feeding the ducks, hiking, fishing and rock hoping in the creeks. Our weekends are spent enjoying family swim time at the local fitness center, riding our bikes, walking our three dogs: Roxie a schnauzer, Rocco a morkie, and Barley, a golden retriever, seeing movies, cooking, and entertaining. The beach is only a few hours away as well, and we love taking advantage of the short ride down to the coast for some “fun in the sun”.

stuart W
ow, where do I start! Stuart is so much fun and makes me laugh everyday, I couldn’t imagine him not being my other half. Stuart grew up in Mississippi. He is the baby of five children. He attended the University of Mississippi and William Carey College where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He has been practicing dentist for over 14 years. He is also avid singer, actor, dancer, and philanthropist.
Stuart is a wonderful father and never passes up a free afternoon to spend with his family. Stuart has such a huge heart and always has a smile, and can always entertain people at the drop of a hat.

After college, John worked on a Presidential Campaign and after the campaign he went into Commercial Real Estate for an investment group in Charlotte. Our home and community » We have a beautiful house located in the heart of North Carolina. We can walk to the downtown area, our church, to Ramsay’s school, and to about anywhere in the city. We have a very warm home with very eclectic colors. Our house is a mixture of old and new as we have inherited a lot of neat relics and furniture from Ramsay’s great aunt, whom he is named after. We have three bedrooms, but a large functional basement. We have plans to add on to our house, so that our children can have lots of room to play and feel “at home.” The public school system is superb in our area and we are very confident that our children will thrive. There are a lot of outdoor activities to choose from for children. Ramsay plays baseball, attends gymnastics, and is currently taking piano lessons. He loves to go hiking, swim in the local creeks, and play outside in our local neighborhood. We have wonderful neighbors and our city is very safe.
Our Extended Family » Our family is large. Stuart is from a family of five siblings & John is from a family of three siblings. We enjoy being with each of them and all their families. Ramsay currently has thirteen first cousins in our family, ranging from 1 to 25 years of age, all of which love our son very much and are so excited about the new addition to our family. We have a guest bedroom at our home, which stays occupied many weekends with aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers who we always love having in town. We had Thanksgiving at our home a few years ago and we had over 40 family members attend. We had to rent a big white tent to put in our backyard because we both wanted our whole family to sit at one table; it was truly a happy moment for our family for us all to sit at one table and be blessed to have each other. We can’t wait to have another child so that he or she can experience moments like this and see all of the family that will be there to support them and give them unconditional love. We both love the show on ABC called “Modern Family.” We both relate so much to that show and our families and all the craziness (in a good way of course). There’s never a dull moment and we have some crazy times with our families but laughter and unconditional love brings us all closer each time.

We make spirituality a part of our life, by living by the golden rule. Furthermore we are very involved in our
local Presbyterian church where Stuart sings in the choir and John helps with the children’s programs. There are many events that take place at our church, and we enjoy the outreach our church provides to local homeless shelters, local ministries, local food banks, and to those in need. We don't feel our spirituality defines us, but its an important part of our lives.

Welcome home!
Why we want to Adopt again: We adopted our son several years ago and he’s been an amazing child. We would like nothing more than to give another child a loving family and help them become as amazing and talented as our son (we’re not just bias, he really is!!!). Ramsay has so much love in our family with all his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and of course, us. We would love to give another child an amazing opportunity to be part of our loving family.
All ready for his first day of school!
