After five long years of trying to have a baby, we feel adoption is the next step for us. We have been completely supportive of each other through the ups and downs and have been a team from day one. Our love for each other and commitment to each other has grown stronger than we could have imagined. We know that we are ready to start a family. We have so much love to give.

ABOUT US We have been together for 12 years overall and married for 6 ½ years. To this day, our amazing group of friends still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding and that another wedding has yet to top it! We began our lives as husband and wife surrounded by friends, family, laughter and fun.

THINGS WE LOVE TO DO TOGETHER • T raveling and experiencing other cultures by enjoying the food and history. We really enjoyed our honeymoon in Italy seeing all the amazing sites in Rome. • T rying new food: One of our favorites is crepes in Paris or fish and chips in London. •G oing to the Zoo or animal parks: We love animals! •A ttending sporting events: We like going to Lakers basketball games and Dodgers Baseball games. Tehmin loves football, especially his Cal Bears.

When I was a child I loved dance class and gymnastics. I played Barbies with my little girlfriends and loved to bake cookies. But I had to let out my inner tomboy every once in awhile and had a blast playing tag with my neighborhood friends and playing in the sandbox. I also had every type of pet: hermit crab, fish, frog, gerbil, hamster, and, of course, dogs. Later I enjoyed sports like tennis and track and really enjoyed the competition aspect. Today, I love following Lakers basketball and the Olympics even though its only every 4 years. I am a Medical Esthetician and run my own skin care business. My job is to help my clients feel their absolute best by having healthier skin that they can feel really proud about. I am able to help treat acne issues and help with any aging concerns, among all kinds of other treatments. Although the products I research and use are top of the line, the best part about my job is boosting my clients’ confidence and helping them to de-stress. What’s great about this business is the flexibility it allows with my schedule. I can work part time and decide my own hours. MAUI LUAU

When I was a child I loved sports. My favorite baseball players were Bo Jackson and Don Mattingly of the Yankees. I collected baseball cards, rode skateboards, and listened to a lot of music. The Beastie Boys were constantly in the cassette player, like most kids in those days! I also really enjoyed my GI Joes and Transformers. I still really enjoy watching and playing sports and listening to different types of music, from top 40 to hard rock to electronica. I’m a big kid at heart so I like to have hobbies. I’m a huge sneaker collector and collect Nikes and Air Jordans. I currently have quite a collection. My favorites are the new ones with different crazy colors. I work 5 minutes from home for a major movie studio. Not only do I feel fortunate to be so close to my job, I also love the company and people I work with. Who doesn't like movies?! Being able to walk around work and see movie stars isn't such a bad perk. SO MANY CH OICES!

FAMILY & FRIENDS Tehmin’s parents live in Northern California, which is only a one hour flight away! They have been married 40 years. They both love to cook and both cook really well. His sister lives nearby with her husband. We enjoy large family gatherings with the many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins where there is always an abundance of food. Kim’s family lives on the East Coast. Her parents have been married 45 years. Her brother lives there as well with his wife. Even though we do not see them as often, we catch up over the phone several times a week. We are positive visits to the West Coast will increase with the addition of their first grandchild! Our child will be the first grandchild for both families; needless to say everyone is so excited and cannot wait to do what grandparents do best – spoil their grandkids! Since we don't have local family, our friends have become our family. We share the important events in our lives with our friends and have a large supportive network. is a rescue cat and full of personality for just an 8 pound cat! Also known as
Shmandy, he is a real lap cat.
JoJo
is more shy he was rescued as a kitten. A rescue organization found him at Tehmin’s
work, brought him into Tehmin’s office, and that was that!
Timmy
is the most recent addition to our family. He’s a puppy that was a stray on our
Community property. I think he knew he was meant to be ours and just came to find us.

Our home
is
located
in
a
gated community,
surrounded by beautiful trees and bamboo. It is also part of Hollywood history, since it was the former back lot of MGM Studios; in fact, a few movies including Tarzan and the Wizard of Oz were filmed in our complex! (Way back in the day, of course.) The community is diverse yet suburban. We are also very close to beaches, parks, and hiking trails.
