W
e were recently married but have been in a loving committed relationship for over 21 years, since meeting as college freshmen. Paige works with military veterans as a psychologist. Mindy recently left her job as a biologist to focus on getting our home ready for our child. She looks forward to her new career as a stay-at-home mom! Our relationship is built on a solid foundation of love, respect and support. Whether we are making dinner with organic veggies from our garden, traveling, or working in the yard, we enjoy spending time together. Our child will become a part of everything we do, sharing our lives, our joys and our homemade happiness! We are so excited to become parents!

e live in Smoke Rise, Georgia, a unique community located less than 15 miles from downtown Atlanta. We're looking forward to playing Marco Polo at the neighborhood pool and Mindy can't wait to teach our child tennis at the community courts.
Cooking a Mediterranean feast
for our family
Our house sits on a huge lot and we're looking forward to afternoons spent watching our child climb trees, catch fireflies, and play with our three goofy, loveable dogs. We know they'll also enjoy the companionship and hilarious antics of our three cats as well. Stone Mountain Park is less than five miles from our house and offers fun family activities all year. We look forward to seeing our child's eyes light up watching spectacular fireworks at the park, hearing their giggles as they sled in the snow at the annual Snow Mountain event and witnessing their amazement after their first trip to the top of the mountain where they'll see the most amazing views of Atlanta! e love gardening and can’t wait to “play in the dirt” with our child. We both love to cook and can’t wait to make our first batch of organic baby food. Since our college days in the North Georgia mountains, we’ve loved spending time outdoors together hiking and camping. We've continued to grow together over the years and develop new hobbies and are currently training for our first half marathon. (Wish us luck!)

We’re both certified scuba divers and love the water. We also share a passion for travel and have been fortunate to visit places like Australia, Italy and South America. We can’t wait to share these experiences with our child and take them on amazing adventures!

aige is warm, kind and caring. She gives the best advice, and all our friends and family seek out her insights and wisdom. Every morning Paige transforms into the “coffee fairy” and brings me coffee in bed. Every evening she tells me she loves me before we turn out the lights. Her amazing creativity, generosity, and capacity for unconditional love ensure that all the hours in between are filled with joy. Our child will have a truly wonderful parent and role model in Paige!

indy is the most nurturing and sincere person I’ve ever met, and she’s so much fun, too! Being with her makes every day an adventure. She has a wonderful sense of humor and ability to put people at ease. She loves organizing gatherings with our family and friends where she can often be found at our piano with several children creating an original “tune.” I can’t wait to see Mindy enjoy these activities with our child! oth of our families live close by and are eager to lend a helping hand. Paige’s mom can’t wait to take her first grandchild to shows at the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts, and soon-to-be grandpa Jack is looking forward to adding a little one to his cheering section at Atlanta Braves games. Adventures riding horses, fishing and playing with relatives await our child while "down on the farm" visiting Mindy's family. Many of our friends have recently started families so our child will have many playmates waiting! While living in Miami we developed many close friendships and look forward to exposing our child to the rich culture of South Florida during visits to our "extended family".
