e both love animals and have a passion for volunteering for our local animal shelter where we have fostered, dogs, kittens, guinea pigs, and hamsters. We truly enjoy giving back to our community this way while also helping animals find a loving and caring place to live. It can be tough at times sending our foster animals to their new homes, but watching them bond with their new owners and bring so much joy to their new family makes it all worth it! We enjoy being outdoors whether we’re walking our dogs at our local park, exploring the mountains, or visiting the beach. Many of our outings are with family and friends and we look forward welcoming our child on all of our adventures. Randy loves to fish, play golf, and ride

his bike and he can’t wait to teach our child how to do these things just as he did with our nephews, Blake and Turner. We are very much looking forward to teaching our child the importance of volunteering in our community, sharing our love for books and reading, and watching them explore the outdoors!

We are especially excited about teaching our child to look for seashells & build sandcastles while waves are

splashing at their little toes!

our family & friends have a close knit of wonderful Walsoefriends in our community and in Georgia. We consider our friends part of our extended family and they are all very excited to welcome a child into our lives and can’t wait to babysit. We visit Georgia as much as possible to spend time with Rachel’s family there. Her grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins are eager to have a new addition to our family.

andy sells commercial laundry equipment to hospitals, hotels, schools, and nursing homes. He works close to our home and he is able to travel a couple days a week and make his own schedule. Rachel also works close-by at a local credit union in the audit department as an audit coordinator. We both truly love our jobs and have flexible schedules that will allow us to care for our child’s needs as they arise.

Randy’s brothers and sister in North Carolina are looking forward to having a niece or nephew to love and his mom can’t wait for a second grandchild. We both grew up especially close with our grandparents and we can’t wait for our child to have a special bond with our parents as well. They joyfully await a grandchild to share stories with, and to teach how to fish and bake.

All of our family and friends have been extremely supportive on our journey to adopt. Our child will have a

special place in everyone’s heart! Reading to our friend, Sophia

e live in a family-friendly neighborhood in Knightdale, just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. Our neighborhood is filled with many children. Just down the road we have many restaurants, shops, and a wonderful community park. We also have a greenway connected to our neighborhood, where we enjoy taking walks and riding our bikes. Downtown Raleigh is only a ten-minute drive from our house and has museums, more parks, farmers markets, festivals and lots of fun things to do.
