Dr. Miguel Torres is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was born in Havana, Cuba. Dr. Torres earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology & Cell Science at the University of Florida and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with Honors. He then reached the Highest Honors while completing his OBGYN Residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in 2013. “I am passionate about helping women bring a new life into this world. It is inspiring. I treat every patient with respect, compassion and truly care for their well-being.” Dr. Marcela Torres was born in Cali, Colombia. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology at Kean University in New Jersey and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with honors. She then completed a General Surgery Internship at the University of Maryland. In 2017, Dr. Torres graduated from OBGYN Residency at Mercer University School of Medicine. “I enjoy practicing in the field of obstetrics because having a baby is the most memorable moment of a women’s life. I strive to make this moment special and perfect for each of my patients.”

We are trained in robotic surgery, which allows patients to recover faster, with less intra-operative blood loss, smaller skin incisions, and less post-operative pain. Both physicians are pioneers in a new FDA-approved radiofrequency ablation therapy for fibroids treatments using ultrasound guidance with transvaginal and laparoscopic approaches. We also provide a variety of contraceptives such as Intrauterine devices, subdermal implants, and in-office gynecologic procedures.
