Local Government is the at the center of any grass
roots management of a population such like the
Philippines numbering now over one hundred
million people. While Democracy with the vote of the
majority is not necessarily good or politically pragmatic
for some countries such like Thailand and a number of
South American Countries, there is no other alternative.
Our democracy is based on our written constitution
and until the day we change this, the option for any
other practice is void of any discussion. The will of
the people, the majority of the people is the basis of
our democracy.
