It’s been a year of growth, connection, and shared experiences, and we couldn’t have done it without your support and participation. Whether you’re new to the community or have been here since the beginning, your presence has made a difference and contributed to the spirit of our collective journey.
As we enter this festive season, I encourage you to embrace the joy and warmth that it brings. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, family, and neighbors, to create new memories, and to reflect on the year gone by. Let’s also remember to support those around us who may need a little extra cheer and kindness during this time.

We are pleased to announce that Kelsey Porter is our new Lifestyle Manager here at Esplanade by the Islands. She has been with us since mid-September, so many of you may have had the chance to meet her in the Sales Gallery or at one of our previous events. If you have not had the chance to get to know Kelsey, please feel free to stop by and say hello as well as read on to learn more about her!
Kelsey is from Jemison, a rural town located in central Alabama. She is an animal lover, as her family has two Great Pyrenees, a calico cat, and around 30 pygmy goats at home! She attended the University of Alabama where she obtained her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in hospitality management.
Kelsey has always had a passion for serving others. While in college, she was a member of multiple organizations that allowed her to give back to her community. She has experience working in a variety of hospitality organizations such as golf courses, athletics departments, and restaurants. Kelsey finds event planning and management very rewarding because it allows her to use her creativity and hospitality skills to create memorable experiences for others.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She is a die-hard Bama fan, so you can usually find her in crimson and white, cheering on the Tide!
Kelsey is excited to start this new journey and looks forward to collaborating with the Lifestyle team, getting to know the Members, and having a lot of fun at Esplanade by the Islands!
