Spring is in full swing!

Can you even believe that summer is almost here! As we are cruising through the year, one of the best times to be at Lake Club is in the summer! Although the weather is hot, we have the beautiful lake and, of course, the Resort pool to enjoy as well as friends to have good times with.

For the months of May and June, your Lifestyle team has put together some great family-friendly events. Whether it be tie dying pool towels, making flowerpots, or even just popsicles poolside, May and June are sure to be filled with fun. Don’t forget to register for our Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Brunches and be sure not to miss the Member Mingler. Let’s not forget, the next Cooking & Cocktail Series with Patrick and Marcella is coming up as well.

One of the best things about Esplanade Lake Club is that there are so many Members with different interests and hobbies. If you have a particular interest that you would like to share with your friends and neighbors, we have multiple opportunities to become a club leader.

All you have to do is share your interest with your Lifestyle Manager and they will assist with getting your club started by getting you the interest group and club information packet, assisting with choosing dates and times that work best for your group, and by helping promote it to all of the Members of the community. The variety of clubs are endless; let’s build a great social program together!

Allison Hagie, a North Fort Myers native, has spent her entire life in this sunny corner of Florida. In June, she embarked on a new adventure as a barista at Esplanade, a bustling coffee shop where the aroma of freshly brewed beans mingles with the laughter of regulars. Allison thrives on connecting with people, savoring their stories over steaming lattes and frothy cappuccinos. As a sophomore at FSW (Florida Southwestern State College), she’s diligently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and entrepreneurship. Her dream? To one day launch her own business, fueled by passion and determination. When she’s not crafting the perfect latte art or poring over business textbooks, Allison indulges in her other loves.

Traveling is her escape, whether it’s exploring quaint European streets or hiking rugged trails in national parks. Armed with her trusty camera, she captures moments that tell stories. When the Florida sun beckons, she swaps her camera for a kayak paddle, gliding through mangrove-lined waterways or venturing out to sea. However, what fills Allison’s heart most is her role within the Esplanade team. She’s grateful for the camaraderie, the daily buzz of activity, and the chance to create small moments of joy for her customers. As she steams milk and grinds beans, she knows she’s part of something special—a community that thrives on shared experiences and the simple pleasure of a well-brewed cup of coffee.

Esplanade Lake Club is a generous community! Members are invited to participate in learning lifesaving techniques to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest. This class will cover basic CPR techniques for adults including chest compressions and rescue breaths. Additionally, participants will learn how to use an AED to deliver electric shocks to restore normal heart rhythm. Stacy Logue, Wellness & Sports Courts Manager and American Red Cross certified instructor, will take participants through hands-on practice to gain confidence and skills needed to act in a cardiac emergency.
