In this edition, we invite you to dive into the refreshing pool waters, savor the flavors of outdoor cooking, and discover the joys of cultivating your own green spaces. COMMUNITY SALES MANAGER

With great pleasure, we introduce Lee Griffin, a Community Sales Manager for the Esplanade at Northgate team! Lee has been in real estate, both new construction and general brokerage sales for almost 20 years. Prior to his arrival into the real estate world, Lee spent 17 years in the athletic footwear and apparel business with Nike. Lee has always felt people do business with people they trust and show a genuine sense of curiosity for the customer’s needs.

Lee is married with three children and lives in Union County as well. He enjoys ALL SPORTS, especially those that involve the outdoors and physical activity. He is happy to take you on in a friendly game of cornhole!

Lee also has ties with the veterans in our community, as he spent 12 years in the Army National Guard and Reserves as an Armor Officer. His father was a retired “Full Bird” Colonel and was also a tanker. So, you could say he followed in the family tradition.

Lee is a native of Tennessee and regularly goes back home to visit family and to take his kids hiking and camping in the beautiful Volunteer state. Speaking of Volunteer, Lee is also a huge University of Tennessee fan with hopes that one of his children will attend the university.

Jake joined our family as a new pup over 10 years ago. He was mellow and easy as a pup and remains so to this day. Jake is friendly to both people and other dogs. Jake is not one to bark and tolerates the “little ones” when they try to scare them with their barks! A true gentleman, he enjoys leisurely walks, particularly when the weather isn’t too hot, and is what you might call a “people dog.” Despite his size, he’s always ready to curl up in a lap for some cuddling!

Originally from Connecticut, Carol and Ray moved to Melbourne Beach, Florida 10 years ago before moving to Esplanade at Northgate. After exploring various communities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, they chose Esplanade for its new amenities and proximity to Ray’s twin brother in Salisbury. Carol is a retired Cytotechnologist, while Ray is a retired P.A. Their favorite vacation spot is Block Island, Rhode Island where they have been visiting for over 40 years.

Carol and Ray lead an active lifestyle, exercising daily and enjoying pickleball together. Carol is an avid runner and weight trainer, having completed numerous half and full marathons, including the Disney Marathon. Ray enjoys biking, walking, and light upper body training. He was a former competitive stair climber, conquering iconic buildings like the Empire State Building and the Sears Towers. Additionally, he has six years of karate experience. Ray’s hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, and creating unique one of a kind shell art, while Carol enjoys photography.

Our first community blood drive was a resounding success, bringing people together to contribute to a life-saving cause. Yappy Hour ST. PUPTRICK’S DAY

We hosted an unforgettable Doggy Happy Hour that had tails wagging and hearts melting! Pups of all shapes and sizes joined in the festive spirit and spread joy with every woof and wag. It was a delightful afternoon filled with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of doggy antics. It was also Memphis’ birthday (fur baby to Members Nancy and Dave)! Here’s to more paw-some celebrations in the future!

Utilizing a palette of cheerful colors, bandanas, and delicate brush strokes, these painted pots breathe new life into garden spaces, adding a touch of joy and freshness to outdoor settings.

Ladies Night was a fantastic success filled with laughter, creativity, and wonderful memories.
