Letter From the Lifestyle Team
AMBER ELLIS & AREZO ETTEHAD YOUR LIFESTYLE TEAM
Welcome
As the temperatures begin to rise and the first blooms of spring emerge, it is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to every one of our esteemed Members and future homeowners in this edition of our March/April magazine.
In this issue, we aim to capture the spirit of spring and highlight the various happenings within our community. It is not just a place to live – it is a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences, and your involvement is what makes it truly special. Within these pages, you’ll find valuable information about upcoming events, club meetings, helpful lifestyle tips, and more. Whether it’s a neighborhood social gathering, a gardening workshop, or an opportunity to try something new, there’s something for everyone. Make sure to mark your calendars and get involved – these events are fantastic opportunities to connect with your neighbors and build lasting friendships.
Furthermore, we encourage you to share your story with the community. Our magazine aims to reflect the diverse and talented individuals who call Esplanade at Tradition home. If you have a special skill, an interesting hobby, or have been involved in a
Spring!
charitable project, please reach out to us. We would love to spotlight you in the next magazine (and would be happy to write the story for you)!
As we navigate the coming months, let’s continue to foster a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect within our community. Take a moment to appreciate the stunning landscapes that surround us. Consider a leisurely stroll around the community, a local park, or a beach you haven’t visited yet. Let’s continue to be good stewards of our environment (Earth Day is coming up April 22!) and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the Treasure Coast.
If you have any suggestions, feedback, or ideas, we are always eager to hear from you. Together, we can make Esplanade at Tradition an even more wonderful place to call home. Thank you for being an integral part of our community, and may the coming months be filled with joy, laughter, and positive connections.
Erin Railey
YOUR WARRANTY COORDINATOR
Erin was born in Indiana and moved to Florida when she was two years old. She has lived in the Treasure Coast area since then and does not see herself leaving anytime soon. Erin has two kids, a dog named Fred, and a bird named Piper. In her free time, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, making crafts with her kids, or enjoying the nightlife. Her favorite restaurant is Cheesecake Factory, and she loves going to Target on the weekends with a coffee in hand. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to work at Esplanade as the Warranty Coordinator. Erin looks forward to meeting every Member and making a difference in a positive way!
Benefits of Spa Treatments
Indulging in spa treatments offers a myriad of benefits for both the body and mind. Beyond the immediate sense of relaxation, regular spa sessions contribute to stress reduction, improved sleep quality, and enhanced overall well-being. These treatments often include massages that not only soothe tired muscles, but also promote better blood circulation, aiding in the detoxification process. Skincare treatments, another spa staple, can rejuvenate the skin, leaving it refreshed and radiant. Additionally, the calming ambiance of spas creates a therapeutic environment, fostering mental clarity and emotional balance. Embracing spa rituals is a holistic approach to self-care, providing a rejuvenating escape from the demands of daily life.

Giving Back
Highlighting your most recent charitable efforts in the community.
In a remarkable display of compassion and community spirit, our Members rallied together to surpass all expectations in our Toys for Tots drive. The outpouring of generosity was nothing short of heartwarming (the box was overflowing!), showcasing the true essence of giving back during the Holiday Season.
On April 11, celebrate “National Pet Day” by bringing in a donation to the Sales Gallery to support the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. Each donation will help provide food and proper medical care, spay/neuter, and comfortably house each animal while awaiting their fur-ever home.
Furry Friends
In
Loving Memory of Junior
LOVED BY CHRISTOPHER & ALEYDA SANZ
Junior Zachariah was a 13-year-old Shih Tzu born on August 1 in Port St. Lucie. He was a rare Florida native who loved to be spoiled. He loved to go to the park, visit the beach, smell new places, go on stroller rides and pretty much anything that involved being with his mom and dad. He hated being alone, so he looked for every opportunity to jump in the car and go places. He was smart and loved to play games to earn his treats. He learned to lay down, sit, roll over, and give high fives. He was even in a commercial once for a regional bank promoting a local vet.
Junior met his family here in Tradition at the square for the first time when he was only eight weeks old and loved being in Tradition ever since. He would have loved to meet all of you and your fur babies, but sadly Junior took the walk over the Rainbow Bridge on January 16 to be with all his friends that passed before him. We honor Junior’s memory today and are so thankful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. He is missed by all that knew him.

Fit Life Tips
1. MORNING ENERGIZER
Kick start your day with a quick 10-minute workout. A combination of stretches, bodyweight exercises, and deep breathing can boost your energy levels and set a positive tone for the day.
2. DESK EXERCISE BREAKS
Combat the sedentary workday by incorporating short desk exercises. Simple stretches, seated leg lifts, or even standing squats can help prevent stiffness and enhance productivity.
3. HYDRATION AND EXERCISE
Remember to stay hydrated during workouts. Proper hydration not only supports your body’s functions, but also aids in maximizing your exercise performance. Aim to drink water throughout the day, especially before and after your workout.
4. MIX IT UP
Keep your fitness routine interesting by trying different activities. Whether it’s a new workout class, outdoor activity, or home workout routine, variety not only prevents boredom, but also challenges different muscle groups.
5. SMART SNACKING
Fuel your body with nutritious snacks before and after your workout. Opt for a mix of carbohydrates and protein to provide sustained energy and aid in muscle recovery.
6. REST AND RECOVERY
Don’t underestimate the importance of rest days. Your body needs time to recover and repair. Incorporate active recovery activities
like yoga or light walks on your rest days to promote flexibility and reduce muscle soreness.
7. SET REALISTIC GOALS
Establish achievable fitness goals to stay motivated. Whether it’s increasing the number of steps per day, lifting heavier weights, or mastering a new yoga pose, gradual progress leads to long-term success.
8. QUALITY SLEEP
Ensure you get enough quality sleep. Your body repairs and grows during sleep, making it crucial for overall well-being and muscle recovery. Create a bedtime routine and aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
9. MIND-BODY CONNECTION
Embrace exercises that promote a strong mind-body connection, such as yoga or meditation. These activities not only improve flexibility and strength but, also enhance mental focus and reduce stress.
10. COMMUNITY CHALLENGES
Foster a sense of community among Members by organizing fitness challenges. Whether it’s a step-count challenge, a virtual race, or a team-based activity, friendly competition can inspire motivation and camaraderie.
Remember, consistency is key in any fitness journey. Incorporate these tips into your routine and enjoy the benefits of a healthier and more active lifestyle!
Mindful Moments: The Benefits of Meditation for Well-Being
In today’s fast-paced world, finding moments of peace and tranquility is crucial for maintaining overall well-being. One practice that has gained widespread recognition for its positive impact is meditation. Here’s why incorporating meditation into your routine can contribute to a healthier and more balanced life:
1. STRESS REDUCTION
Meditation is a powerful tool for managing stress. By focusing on the present moment and cultivating mindfulness, individuals can learn to respond to stressors more calmly, leading to reduced overall stress levels. Regular meditation has been linked to lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress.
2. IMPROVED MENTAL CLARITY
Engaging in meditation helps clear the mental clutter and enhances cognitive function. Studies have shown that regular meditation can lead to improvements in attention span, memory, and overall mental clarity. It provides a mental reset, allowing individuals to approach tasks with increased focus and efficiency.
3. EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING
Meditation promotes emotional balance by fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation. It provides a space for individuals to explore and understand their emotions without judgment, leading to greater emotional resilience and improved mood.
4. BETTER SLEEP QUALITY
Creating a meditation routine can positively impact sleep patterns. Mindfulness meditation has been associated with improvements in sleep quality. By calming the mind and reducing stress, individuals often find it easier to relax and achieve more restful sleep.
5. STRESS-RELATED HEALTH BENEFITS
The mind-body connection is undeniable, and meditation plays a role in supporting physical health. Regular practice has been linked to lower blood pressure, improved immune function, and a reduction in inflammation – all of which contribute to overall well-being.
6. GETTING STARTED
Meditation doesn’t require an extensive time commitment. Beginners can start with just a few minutes each day and gradually increase as they become more comfortable. There are various techniques, such as mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and guided visualization, allowing individuals to find a practice that suits their preferences.
Incorporating meditation into your routine is a small investment with significant returns for your mental and physical health. Take a moment each day to cultivate mindfulness, and you may find yourself enjoying a more balanced and fulfilling life.
