azmat Responder Network facilitates HAZWOPER training in regards of 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) for the Professional Tow & Recovery Operator. Tow Companies are encouraged to create a new business name and operate spill response separate from their existing business for various legal reasons. Training consists of classroom instruction to hands on applications. Participants are shown the proper donning and doffing of Chemical Protective Clothing, “CPC”, and dress out in certain ensembles with SCBA’s, (self-contained breathing apparatus). Decon methods of personnel and equipment are covered. Testing of soil and water impacted by a spill or release is covered in training as well and ground and bonding, air monitoring, defensive and offensive measures are taught.
