This is our 56th reunion with YOU, our family. Some of you have been coming here for decades, others are new to the family. We welcome you all! And this year, our home has a new wing! We’re excited to welcome you to MYARTS, Madison’s home for youth arts. This new facility is where all the behind-the-scenes work happens and where our classes are held. It’s also where you’ll get to see some shows! We love performing in Overture Center, where A Christmas Carol will return to the Capitol Theater in December, and we’ll bring Stellaluna to The Playhouse in February. Come spring, the doors to the main theater of MYARTS will open, ushering you in to see two shows: Calabasas Street and Freaky Friday . We can’t wait to show you this new addition! As always, our productions feature professional adult actors alongside talented youth, bringing you the finest family entertainment. CTM has been a resident company of Overture Center since it opened its doors in 2004. We will continue to perform A Christmas Carol in the historic Capitol Theater and have shows in The Playhouse, too. We are ecstatic to welcome you into our new home in the beautiful MYARTS at 1055 E. Mifflin Street. Located at this new state-of-the-art facility will be some of our shows, offices, a technical production shop, and rooms for rehearsals, classes, and camps including the popular, Summer Stage.

Sensory kits are available at all of our performances for youth with sensory processing issues to use during the show. Each kit includes sunglasses for light, a pair of headphones for sound dampening, and 3-4 different fidgets.

Free tickets for student matinee performances are offered to all students who qualify for free and reduced lunch, and to all teachers.
ASL INTERPRETED
At least one performance of each of our productions is ASL interpreted. In addition, Stellaluna will have ASL woven throughout the show!
SENSORY FRIENDLY SHOWS
We offer dedicated sensory-friendly performances for youth on the autism spectrum and for those with sensory or communication needs. We provide support inside and outside the theater to enable children and their families to be able to attend the performance together.

Our Young Playwrights program for middle and high school students creates a public forum for youth voices through the medium of playwriting. The program develops relationships between Dane County youth, professional theater artists, and educators.
FREE PROGRAMMING AT COMMUNITY CENTERS Theater classes are offered free of charge at community centers. Partnering with community center educators, we guide youth through an arts-rich theater exploration that ends with a celebration for families and friends.
ANTI-RACISM TEACHING ARTIST COLLECTIVE
