In recent weeks, they have broken the following single game team records - most points, most points in a half, fewest points allowed, largest margin of victory, fewest fouls, free throw percentage and field goals made. - On top of that, the team broke the program’s record for longest regular season winning streak, which now sits at 32 dating back to Jan. 6 of last year. They have also won a record 39 straight regular season conference games, a streak Head Coach: KaWambee Gaines (1st Yr.) that began 2-8-14. The last loss? 2-1-14. The team hasn’t lost a home conference game since 1-21-12. - Owens has now won its first 18 games by an average of Career Record: 49.8 PPG. Furthermore, they have outscored their opponents by 897 points, which is 69 more than the total num2-8 ber of points they’ve allowed this year. They have not won a game by fewer than 22 points, and they are averaging 95.8 Career OCCAC Record: PPG, which is second in the nation. They have scored 100 1-4 or more points in three straight (never been done before in Owens WBB history) and seven overall this year - just two short of matching the single season record of nine set by last year’s team. - Owens is now 68-1 at home, which includes 19 straight PPG: Johnson 20.8 wins, since February of 2012.
