The last on court victory for Owens came Nov. 8, 2014 in a 99-92 final. - Following today, Owens will be back in action at home this Saturday at 3 p.m. against Muskegon. - Jaylen Tucker, who had 29 points and 10 rebounds in the 100-99 win over No. 9 Lansing last week, has been named the OCCAC player of the week. It is the second time in four weeks he has won the award. He now has five double-doubles through the team’s seven games this year. - Charles Penn III, who averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for Owens as a freshman last year, is averaging 11.2 points and 9.2 rebounds for Schoolcraft this year. He has started all six games for them.
