With a win, Owens would keeps its chances alive for a conference championship, while a win for Lakeland would keep an undefeated conference season alive and increase their odds for an outright conference championship. Owens will be looking to avenge a 103-95 loss to Lakeland from Jan. 21. In that game, Kenny Jones and John Murry combined for 50 points, but Lakeland had seven players reach double figures.
Clarke vs Bowe Since Owens head coach Dave Clarke took over in 2011-12, he has been in a battle with Lakeland head coach Terry Bowe. Including this year’s loss, Clarke is 5-4 overall against Bowe. The two have split a pair of head to head matchups in the district championship game, as well. Bowe won 3 of the first 4 matchups, while Clarke has won 4 of the past 5.
