Dear Friends, It is with great excitement to let you know about an amazing fundraising event that will take place this upcoming February 2019. The first annual Fire Gods Fundraising Event is being hosted in support of Project SHARE, to raise funds directly for the Niagara Falls Out of the Cold program. There is a need in Niagara Falls for increased support and shelter. The Out of the Cold program will be operating out of St. Andrew’s United Church on Morrison Street, and will be running as a two-year pilot run through Project Share. Having a centre in Niagara Falls this winter means fewer people will be forced to travel to other cities and towns to seek shelter. It is imperative that we do our part to ensure that the program has access to the resources it needs to operate daily, and to ensure that as the demands increase, the program can expand as required. Our first event will be held at the Americana Conference, Resort, Spa & Waterpark on Friday, February 8, 2019. The event itself will provide an evening of entertainment, food, and light refreshments. All proceeds raised will go directly to Project SHARE. Your sponsorship will contribute to our fundraising goals in support of Project SHARE, which has committed to dedicating 100% of the funds raised to the Out of the Cold program operating out of St. Andrew’s Church. Your support will help ensure that the program can comfortably supply the necessities required to operate the shelter daily and serve those in need seeking shelter from the cold. VISION: That all individuals seeking warmth and shelter have access to the Out of the Cold program in Niagara Falls. GOAL: To raise a total of $50,000 that will go directly to funding the OUT OF THE COLD PROGRAM in Niagara Falls, through Project SHARE.

There is a need in Niagara Falls for increased support and shelter. The goal of the program is to ensure that Niagara’s homeless have a warm place to sleep so everyone can get safely through the night. The shelter opens daily at 7pm and closes at 7am.
