Bring a group out to Oxbow’s Trivia Night! Oxbow will host 3 rounds of trivia, featuring all things SEVENTIES from sports to pop culture to news stories. Compete by yourself or with a group for awesome prizes! This is part of a monthly trivia series that will run in January— March. Cumulative prizes will be awarded for individuals/teams who compete in all three nights! Evening will also feature 70 cent nacho plates and 1/2 price bottles of wine. It’s going to be a GROOVY time!
Chef Scott brings you a five course specialty dinner inspired by the best in traditional Asian cuisine. All courses will be thoughtfully paired with a beverage. Limit 30 attendees.
Oxbow will be hosting its first ever GAME SHOW NIGHT on January 24th. Join your friends for some fun and laughter. Oxbow’s own Rob Johnson will be bringing his highly interactive and entertaining show to the Oxbow stage. Rob performs throughout the US and has done shows in England, Ireland, and on Cruise Ships in the Caribbean. This show will feature a live performance of his highly acclaimed NOT-SO-NEWLYWED GAME! You guessed it...several of our own members will be the contestants and who knows what will happen? We are excited to bring a fresh night of entertainment to our members. January 2019 January Family Day Schedule JANUARY 6—SNOW GLOBE CRAFT ALL DAY | Complimentary We’ll provide all the supplies necessary to create a fun snow globe craft to bring home!
SUNDAYS ARE FAMILY DAY AT OXBOW!!! JANUARY 13—ARM KNITTING CLASS Each Sunday, we will offer a different activity or event that families can enjoy together. We will also offer FAMILY-STYLE meal specials in the restaurant from 4 PM—8 PM on Sunday evenings. Relax, grab a board game, and make memories together at Oxbow before the start of a new week.
3 PM—5 PM | $26/Student Learn the technique of arm knitting with artist and Oxbow member Emily Brooks of Taea Made. Emily will teach you how to cast on, knit a double wrap cowl neck scarf, bind off, and then sew the ends of your scarf together without using knitting needles. In this two hour class, you'll have the opportunity to make a dark gray scarf with bright flecks of color. This class is best for ages 12+.
JANUARY 20—WINTER CARNIVAL & CHERYL CAMERON BENEFIT 12 PM—3 PM | Complimentary Bundle up at Oxbow for skating, ice golf, and outdoor fun, supplemented by indoor activities in the ballroom. We are also going to be raising funds for Cheryl Cameron, an Oxbow server whose home was recently destroyed in a fire. Watch your email for more details!

Learn the tricks of the trade for baking delicious pies with Suzanne, Oxbow’s resident Pastry Chef. This two hour cooking class will be hands on and you will practice simple, yet essential, techniques for baking the perfect pie every time!

BUTCHERY BASICS CLASS March 12th 6 PM | $45/Person Are you ready to take your knife skills to the next level? We’ll teach you essential butchery techniques so you can tackle breaking down and deboning a whole chicken, cutting your own tenderloin, and dry aging a rib eye. You will then use your handiwork to create a delicious chicken meal that will be enjoyed at the conclusion of class! Please bring your own boning knife to the class. DADDY-DAUGHTER DANCE March 30th 5 PM—7 PM | $25/Person Treat that special little lady in your life to a magical day at your club! The event will start promptly at 5 PM with a special Grand March that Mommies and other guests are welcome to attend.
