The Jolly Tucket The Jolly Tucket was trying to sneak into Treasure Harbour without being caught. She was a pirate ship, filled from bottom to top with treasure. To make things more tricky, the fog was so thick that you could hardly see your hand in front of your face! Little Bee was the lookout of the pirate crew, and as she peered into the gloomy grey mist, she could not help but imagine all sorts of creepy things appearing through the fog. “Rocks, left!” she cried, suddenly seeing jagged stones appear from the water, like the sharp teeth of a hungry sea monster. “Whirlpool, right!” she bellowed, and the sloshing water swirled and lurched, like a howling tornado beneath the waves. “Kelp ahead!” she yelled as a vast patch of green seaweed appeared in front of the boat, grabbing at it like the tentacles of a giant octopus. It was trying to drag the ship to the bottom of the sea. Each time Little Bee shouted, Captain Gimball steered the ship to avoid the dangers that littered the sea around them. Little Bee then began to hear a faint ringing through the gloom. “DONG - DONG - DONG.” It was the harbour bell! “Full steam ahead!” she hollered, pointing in the direction of the noise. All too soon, the familiar shape of the houses of Treasure Harbour emerged through the mist, with friendly faces waiting on the jetty ready to tie up the Jolly Tucket. “‘Ere, Little Bee,” said Captain Gimball in his thick pirate’s accent. He flicked her a gold coin with a twinkle in his eyes. “Good work! Don’t spen’ it all a’once!”
