Over the decades, the company became a leading provider of highquality appliances, home furniture and office furniture. With a robust product portfolio and a customer-centric approach, Oxford House has established itself as a trusted partner within the local market.
The company’s strategy is to introduce top-of-the-range home appliances to the market, offering a diverse range of cuttingedge products tailored to different market audiences. The company takes pride in being the recognised agent for the German Bosch and NEFF brands, providing high-quality products and excellent, timely after-sales service.
Throughout the years, the company has invested in further growth and extended its branches, marking an exciting milestone: the birth of Oxford House Projects, a new division within the organisation. This growth has brought about new job positions and career opportunities within the industry. We specialise in offering premium home and office solutions through our exclusive partnerships and representations of renowned global brands such as Steelcase.
The company employs an annual fulltime equivalent of 70 team members, managed through open communication and a diversification of formidable sales ambassadors across the different functions of the business, to specialised team members in logistics, warehousing and deliveries, project management and installations, together with a fully trained after-sales complement ranging from customer service agents, technicians,
spare parts agents and furniture installers, all led by a Senior Management complement.
With the success and completion of numerous projects, we have reinforced our company’s unwavering commitment to excellence and versatility. Each project represents a unique success story, showcasing our ability to tailor solutions across diverse industries.

About Us
The company traces its roots back to 1928 when Rosaria Galea opened her haberdashery shop in Valletta. Succeeded by her son Francesco, he diversified the business into a manufacturing plant in Malta and the repair of tubular steel pushchairs and prams. Later expansion led to the first tubular steel furniture manufacturing in Malta, and in 1960, the company’s premises were expanded into one of the very first factories at the Mrieħel Industrial Estate.
Furniture manufacturing and importation continued throughout the 80s, and further expansion occurred in 1990 with increased capacity for knock-down swivel chairs and office furniture. Thanks to foresight and a deep understanding of the market, the company continued to diversify and stay ahead of the curve.
In 1994, Oxford House became the national representative for Bosch, and a major showroom expansion was undertaken to further consolidate the business. The old
premises surrounding the factory were demolished, and the present-day showroom, with an area of no less than 1600 sq m on four floors, was built. This new space meant there was more room for growth, and new lines of kitchens, bedrooms and office furniture, along with more appliances, were introduced. Today, the company deals exclusively with international flagship brands, focusing on importation, distribution and support.
