UNIT 4: INVERTEBRATES
PROJECT 1:
MAKE A PLACE FOR A NEW FRIEND!!!
In groups, you are going to do a “farm or little garden” with different invertebrates. 1.– You must decide wich animals you are going to take care: Earthworms, silkworms, ants, snails, others… Important: You can’t choose danger animals like spiders, scorpions, wasps… 2.– You can get some ideas from internet. 3.– You must prepare the place for your pets. 4.– You must capture the animals from the country and put them into the place. 5.– You must take care of the invertebrates. 6.– You can take pictures of them and prepare a presentation. Finally explain it to the rest of pupils.

PROJECTS.
PROJECT 2: SQUID OR PRAWN DISSECTION In groups, you are going to make the dissection of a squid or a prawn. 1.– Buy the squid or the prawn in a fish store. 2.– Prepare the tools: (a base, a knife, camera, computer…) 3.– Do the disecction showing the different parts of the invertebrate. 4.– Take pictures of the process. 5.– Do a presentation of the process, and explain it to the rest of the class. NOTE: you can watch the links from internet, to get some ideas.
