B.– You are going to count the servings (times you have a food) you eat during the week, fill this chart, and answer some questions: HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK DID YOU EAT THESE TYPES OF FOOD? Carbohidrates: Fibre, vitamins, mineCereals, bread, biscuits, rals: rice, pasta... Fruit & vegetables

PROJECT 4: CHECK YOUR PULSE. We can count our heartbeats by checking our pulse in different parts of the body (neck, wrist…) To find your pulse in your wrist: a.– You can easily check your pulse on the inside of your wrist, below your thumb. b.– Gently pace 2 fingers (index and middle) of your other hand on this artery. c.– Do not use your thumb, because it has got its own pulse. (If you can't feel anything, press a little harder or move your fingers around)

d.– Count the beats for 15 seconds, and multiply the result by 4 to get the number of beats per minute.

1.– Check your pulse in the class when you are relaxed. What is your pulse? _______ beats/minute (RELAXED) 2.– Go to the playground, and run for a while. Check your pulse inmediately after finish exercise. What is your pulse now?
