PROJECTS.

PROJECT 1: SOLAR COOKER. In pairs, you are going to make a ‘solar cooker’ with a box of a pizza, or another type of box.

Steps: 1.– Prepare the tools and materials.

2.– Make the solar cooker and take photos while you are doing the process.

3.– Use it to cook something (eggs, pop corn, a piece of pizza, some saussages…), and take photos.

4.– Make a power point with the pictures you took.

5.– Explain the presentation to the class.

You can watch some videos to learn the way you can prepare your ‘solar cooker’, or you can invent a new one.

To tell the process to your classmates, you can use these sentences: .- We used: a box / a camera / a laptop / aluminum foil... .- We pasted transparent plastic / aluminum foil… .- When it was ready, we put an egg / a piece of pizza… inside. .- After 40... minutes, it was cooked… .-And finally we prepared the power point.

PROJECT 2: 3D HOLOGRAM PROJECTOR You are going to make a plastic structure to see 3D holograms.

This effect is due to refraction of light.

Steps: 1.– Watch these videos to learn the way to make your 3D hologram projector.

2.– Prepare the tools and materials.

3.– Make the projector.

4.– Place it over a mobile phone or a tablet and enjoy the videos.

This is the way to make a 3D projector.
