PROJECT 1: make a MODEL or a POSTER (Respiratory system, urinary system or skin) This is a group project (2 or 3 people). You are going to make a a poster or a model of the respiratory or excretory system with its different parts labeled... You can use coloured paper, cardboards, eva foam sheets, plasticine… You must draw the parts, cut them out and paste them. You must write their names (and functions)... You also have to explain to the rest of the class. Optional: you can take photos of the process and make a presentation. Here you can see some pictures to get ideas. PROJECT 2: Make a MODEL of LUNGS FUNCTIONING. This is a pair project. You are going to think about the reasons because our lungs inflate and desinflate. So you must construct a model that can show the lung functioning. You’ll use a platic bottle, two balloons, two drinking straws… You’ll build the model and explain to the rest of the class. PROJECT 3: SMOKING BOTTLE, and ANTI-SMOKING POSTER. This is a GROUP PROJECT. You are going to be helped by your parents (your father or your mother). 1.- You are going to build a device to realise the amount of toxic products that a smoker is inhalating while he/she is smoking. So you’ll watch the video, and you are going to do the experiment, in order to check it by yourselves. Later, you must explain it to the rest of the class, and make a dialogue about the problems of smoking. 2.- Imagine you are ‘marketing designer’, and you’ll design a poster for a anti-smoking campaign.
