PROJECTS.

PROJECT 1: make a MODEL or a POSTER (Respiratory system, urinary system or skin) This is a group project (2 or 3 people). You are going to make a a poster or a model of the respiratory or excretory system with its different parts labeled... You can use coloured paper, cardboards, eva foam sheets, plasticine… You must draw the parts, cut them out and paste them. You must write their names (and functions)... You also have to explain to the rest of the class. Optional: you can take photos of the process and make a presentation. Here you can see some pictures to get ideas. The parts of the respiratory systems are… This is the trachea, and it connects... Lungs are formed by… The air goes through...

PROJECT 2: Make a MODEL of LUNGS FUNCTIONING. This is a pair project. You are going to think about the reasons because our lungs inflate and desinflate. So you must construct a model that can show the lung functioning. You’ll use a platic bottle, two balloons, two drinking straws… You’ll build the model and explain to the rest of the class. Here you can see a video to get ideas.
