PACC Summer Fun
Events P ro gram s
We launched our PACC Summer Fun program this month! We have 67 participants from ages 5 to 14 years old who are engaging in fun activities such as gym, Dabka, cooking, robotics, arts and crafts, health and nutrition, and our Holding onto Palestinian Existence Jr. course.
We recently took a trip to Van Saun County Park where they were able to ride a carousel, go on a train ride, and enjoy the zoo. We also enjoyed a reading and discussion of “The Coolest Career” by author Ruba Qasem and had delicious ice cream from Mr. Softee (Thank you to Hakam Bsharat who donated his time and ice cream to our participants). The kids learned some magic tricks from a magician and competed in a fun obstacle course after showing off their group’s Palestine art pieces.

PACC Takes Over Palestine
Since summer is when most of our community visits the homeland, we asked our PACC followers who were visiting Palestine to send us pictures to highlight the different parts of the country. We received pictures from Al-Quds, Gaza, Ramallah, Deir Debwan, Nablus, and Mukhmas. We also took our Facebook and Instagram followers on mini tours of the old city in Nablus, Hisham’s Palace in Jericho, and The Old City of Jerusalem.

We have a total of 20 respondents for both forms and hope to further empower as well as expand our community outreach. Fill out your community story and community mapping forms today.
